There was some beautiful riding weather during July.
     Squier Park Picnic Area
Squier Park is a beautiful spot to take a break. In spring the trail is an ocean of purple phlox. A swing and picnic tables are located here.
     NOODLE'S Scrapbook
Noodle is our 22 year old Tennessee Walking horse who has carried many visitors on tours of the trails at York Hills. He always likes a good trail ride. Thanks for the adventures Noodle! The morning of July 5, 2008 I found Noodle standing in pasture with a broken leg. Sadly, we had to put him down. Noodle was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Deb and John riding "Beef" and "Noodle"
Deb is really riding Jazmine. We teazed her about renaming the mare "Beef" to go with Noodle.
Fixing the flooded York Hills Trail
Dale used an awesome machine to fill in the flooded York Hills Trail. This was the only way to get the trail ready for riding.
     Picnic area trail maintenance
Dale used the dump crawler to fill gravel in soft area. We plan to line this trail with bat houses.
